Gadget of the Week - #3 Grilltech Son of Hibachi

Well the lovely bank holiday weekend weather has influenced by gadget of the week this time round and I introduce the “Son of Hibachi” portable BBQ.

What is it?

The “Son of Hibachi” is a portable BBQ system from the people at Grilltech.

Why is it so great?

I’ll get straight to the point, its great because its very portable and comes with its own carry bag (rucksack style). The grill uses coals and is ready to use in only 10 minutes. The BBQ has both self-cleaning and self extinguishing functionality by just closing the case. The grill will be cool after just 30 minutes but is instantly portable in the provided snuff-out pouch/carry case.

What are you waiting for, only £55 and your summer will be complete.

  1. Dawwww. It’s the cutest little grill ever.

  2. Mmmm it already made me hungry!
Seems to be a very handy and convenient BBQ system that definitely fits teh description portable.
Do you happen to know how much does it weight? That’s very important(for me at least:p)

  3. According to a couple of sources I looked at, the grill weighs “less than 15 pounds,” which in my mind is still fairly heavy. I like the fact that it opens up to a fairly large cooking surface, though.

You may also want to check out the Cobb Portable Grill. At less than 10 pounds it’s really portable, and very flexible. You can see it at artfleederman.com
